Itera signs nearshore agreement with FINN

The Itera company Itera Consulting has signed a development agreement with FINN. The agreement involves application development related to www.finn.no. The development will be carried out in Ukraine, Itera’s center for nearshore development services.

- Nearshore involves a geographical, linguistic and cultural nearness. Our experience tells us that Ukrainian resources are highly educated, speak excellent English, and can be physically present in important meetings and milestones at low cost. We have established a flexible project methodology across the borders, which makes the cooperation very efficient, says Anders H. Lier, CEO in Itera Consulting. 

- FINN will grow strongly in the future. As part of realizing our business strategy, we have chosen IT experts from Ukraine. This ensures high quality, the opportunity for rapid access to IT expertise and dynamic scaling of resource needs in relation to demands on the business side. Nearshoring is a tool to drive innovation, increase the top line, and reduce time-to-market, says Pedro Thormodsen, Director of Product Development at FINN.
 
- FINN is an innovative player with high capacity and quality demands, and we are looking forward to cooperate with them. FINN has visited our nearshore development center in Ukraine, and was convinced about the delivery capability. This agreement confirms that there is a market for our nearshore focus, as a supplement to our remainder delivery capability. Nearshoring gives more value for every penny invested, which, of course, is interesting to most businesses that intend to grow, says Lier.
