Typical tasks:

• Participate in exciting projects in all phases of the process
• Development, upgrade and error correction
• Perform unit testing and contribute in other testing.

Experience and Competency:

• 3-6 years of practical experience.
• Experienced in working with foreign clients, distributed teams.
  The person must be an actual programmer, and not what we refer to as a “drag and drop”-programmer. This includes ASP.NET, HTML and CSS, the designer in Visual Studio is “off-limits” as it creates inaccessible code and code that is impossible to maintain.

Technical experience:

• ASP.NET 2.0, preferably also 3.0/3.5.
  •  Must understand and master the .NET page life-cycle.
  • Understanding of how to implement and consume web-services.
•  C#
  •  Able to write custom web controls.
  • Understand and be able to apply Object Oriented concepts.
  • Have a basic understanding of Design Patterns.
• SQL 2008
  • Not necessary for a person to be a database expert, but must be able to navigate the database when debugging, modify stored procedures if necessary.
• Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007
  • Understand the concept of Web-parts, and where they should be used. Able to develop and implement web-part controls.
• Source control
  • The candidate is used to working in teams where source control is used.
  • It would be nice if the person is used to working with SVN (TortoiseSVN or VisualSVN).
• Relevant experience in one or more technical areas:
  • Microsoft CRM
  • Developing Microsoft Office add-ons (VSTO)
  • Microsoft Reporting Services
  • Knowledge of the shipping (ship brokers) domain from a business perspective.
  • Knowledge in K2 or other workflow products

Education & Language:

• Master degree or Bachelor degree from technological university/college.
• Excellent English skills, both oral and written
